Partnering clever companies to market leadership.
Shamrock Industries was established in March 2000. Over 26 years, what began as toolmaking has grown into a full-service precision engineering company, uniquely in New Zealand covering design through to commissioning under one roof.
Christchurch has grown into a genuine aviation and aerospace hub over that same period, and Shamrock has grown with it, supplying the precision components that programme after programme has been built on. Canterbury now has a regional strategy to become a global aerospace leader by 2035, backed by purpose-built infrastructure like the Tāwhaki National Aerospace Centre and a fast-growing cluster of aerospace, satellite and advanced manufacturing companies. As that industry has scaled, it has needed suppliers capable of full-service delivery, engineered to the standard aviation and aerospace and programmes require, and trusted to get it right the first time. That is where Shamrock sits: not an adjacent supplier, but part of the foundation this industry is being built on.
What we do
We work closely with our clients from the first conversation, staying involved through design, manufacture and delivery rather than handing work off between stages. That closeness is what has let us build long-term relationships with the aviation and aerospace sectors growing here in Christchurch, and carried the same trust into relationships internationally.
Our capability ranges from 3D modelling and design through precision part manufacture to finished assembly, pre-delivery testing and commissioning. Our forte is prototyping, complex 3D machining and custom manufacture, alongside production machining in small to medium batch quantities.
Our professional management team is committed to business partnering. We produce market-leading products, working within an ISO-based quality management system to deliver products and services that are fit-for-purpose and to an exacting standard.

Our Mission
Is to deliver market-leading products and precision engineering services that are fit for their intended purpose, to a standard that reaches beyond our customers' expectations. We achieve this through business partnering and effective, forward-looking management — practices that support the wellbeing of our staff, a fair return for shareholders, and our responsibility as a member of the community.
Our Values
Excellence — Precision, quality, and technical expertise in everything we do
Specialisation — Deep industry knowledge that shapes better manufacturing decisions
Partnership — Collaborative relationships focused on client success
Dependable — Commitments kept, timelines met, complete execution
Innovation — Keep bringing the bright ideas at the right time and place
Improvement — Always learning, always optimizing, always advancing
Our Process
We take a project from design through to a working system: specification and tolerances first, then manufacture across multi-axis CNC, machining, grinding, EDM and welding operations. Components are checked against the drawing, tested in-house against the required standard, assembled and then commissioned on site before being handed over with training for the people running it. Clients stay close to the process at every stage, the way a genuine partnership works.
